Christmas drinks event

The Light Blues Club of Jersey invites you to a very informal evening of drinks and nibbles on Friday 16 December.

Our club crest will be officially unveiled by special guest, DPGM Graham Spence, who will say a few words.

But that’s the only formality.

There’s no sit-down meal! Instead, an inviting menu of hot and cold food will be served as we mingle and enjoy a drink or three from the bar.

We know there are other events on, but this is the only one featuring the mercurial Graham Spence.

All light blue, pink, and dark blue Masons welcome.

Where: Masonic Temple dining hall
Time: 7.15pm for 7.30pm start. 9.30pm drinking up time – and onwards to town for those who want to carry on the festivities
Dress: Smart casual
Cost: £10 (includes entry and all food)
Payment: Pay on the night, but you must confirm first.

Please note: Confirmation means you will be chased for your money if you don’t turn-up!

A curry evening to savour

The inaugural Light Blues Club of Jersey curry evening was a huge success.

Almost 30 brethren attended the private room of the Tamarind Restaurant – with walls seemingly painted light blue in honour of the occasion – where our Provincial Grand Master, Ken Rondel, delivered a welcome speech to formally launch the Club.

Club Chairman, Martyn White, spoke of his excitement at providing social events for younger, new and junior-ranked Masons, and their family and friends, and announced that there will be more events to come later this year.

And, yes, some Dark Blues did sneak in!
